We don’t live in a world where people can choose or change health insurance whenever they want. If you work for a company, they have their Open Enrollment Periods. People who buy their own health insurance have Open Enrollment Periods, too. Please note these upcoming Open Enrollment Dates for Medicare, Obamacare and Groups of 1-50.

MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT
OCTOBER 15 – DECEMBER 7

If you’re 65 and not covered by a group plan, you must get your health insurance through Medicare. Now’s the time to sign up for Part B, choose or renew Part D. It’s the time to get your Supplement. OBAMACARE OPEN ENROLLMENT
NOVEMBER 1 – JANUARY 15

If you’re under 65 and not in a group plan, your only option for major medical health insurance is Obamacare (aka The Affordable Care Act, The Exchange, The Marketplace). You must enroll or re-up for 2022 during this time. You’ll be getting tons of emails, robocalls and mailings about your choices.
