OOPS! Missed the December 15 Deadline?

Open Enrollment for Affordable Care Act (ACA, Obamacare, Exchange) health insurance started November 1st. It ended December 15^th. Anyone under 65 could get health care insurance for themselves and their families starting January 1st, 2022. But what if you missed applying for health insurance before December 15?

Bad news: You’ve lost your chance to have Affordable Care Act health insurance start January 1, 2022.

• Apply for ACA health insurance 30 days before or within 60 days of end of your COBRA subsidy.
• Apply for ACA health insurance 30 days before or within 60 days of the end of COBRA.
